Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled backend developer with strong expertise in Node.js and MySQL to build scalable APIs and manage complex data operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize backend services for high-performance applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Create and manage robust, optimized, and secure MySQL database schemas.
Collaborate with front-end teams, DevOps, and product managers to implement backend logic.
Optimize application performance, query tuning, and backend reliability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade backend systems as needed.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Document technical specifications and architectural decisions.

Pre Requisites:

Must-Have Skills:

Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express.js, Nest.js preferred).
Deep understanding of MySQL database design, indexing, and optimization.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, and secure backend development practices.
Strong problem-solving and system design skills.

Good to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of caching systems (Redis, Memcached).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices.
